Message well i was all happy the other day when i got my iconic dynamics steering guage pod, but when i went to check the fitment i was left a little high and dry. the lines around the endges didn't match, but even if they did the cut out sections didn't either. i don't know if there is a model/year combo that it would work for with a shorter steering column but it didn't work for me. so instead of sending it beck i figured i'll make a project out of it:

here u can see the difference in size and shape

so after drawing a few lines and a few evil laughs this is what happened :)

mamma had a baby and her head popped off...

i connected them with loctite plastic epoxy, which is deffinitly holding strong but it was too rubbery to sand so i used some putty crap i fround in the garage (kinda a mistake but at least it got the right shape) if u are going to be doing this yourself use the plastic epoxy on the underside of the pod (plenty strong to mate the two peices) then go with a harder epoxy like their all purpose one so that u can mold the connecting lines on top and still sand it smoothe.

after some sanding and a few coat of flat black spray paint this is what i have, it still needs a few more coats and some sanding but i think it came out really nice AND u retain the orignial mounting points so the stock screws still work and it lines up perfectly

haha oops howd this get in there... the second to last thing Specialty-Z is sending me.... no i am just waiting on my MS mani's

*****Disclaimer - My spelling is horrific! i appologise in advance :)******
